How is the order decided?

Active boosts sort first, by bid amount, highest first. Everything else is ranked by upvotes and recency. No hidden weighting — the same rules apply to every product, including ours.

When does my placement start?

The moment the payment is confirmed. Free listings stay in the directory permanently; the boost only affects position and the flame badge for the duration you bought.

Can I raise my bid mid-placement?

Yes. Place another boost for the same product and the higher bid takes effect immediately, extending your slot from that moment.

What happens if I am outbid?

You keep the slot you paid for but move down the list as higher bids come in. Positions are live, not reserved.

Refunds and taxes?

Creem is the merchant of record. VAT and sales tax are calculated at checkout, invoices are issued automatically, and refunds follow the terms you agreed to at purchase.
